In this role, you will support busy Spine and Pain Management services by coordinating key administrative functions, helping patients navigate appointments, and serving as a trusted resource within the practice.Why Join Us? Our Pain Management Service delivers compassionate, team-based care for patients experiencing acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain. Together, these teams use a multimodal, multidisciplinary approach to create personalized treatment plans focused on improving comfort, function, and quality of life. What You'll Do *Support smooth and efficient practice operations by performing both administrative and clinical support functions under minimal supervision. *Manage patient visit workflows, including scheduling, check-in, check-out, appointment records, and routine patient inquiries. *Assist with patient billing forms, scanning documents into the medical record, and maintaining accurate documentation. *Serve as a resource and "Super User" for scheduling, registration, and billing systems. *Provide assistance, guidance, and training to Office and Practice Assistants. *Partner with the Supervisor to support daily practice operations and help coordinate staff activities. *Handle phone calls, messages, prior authorization requests, provider questions, prescription refill inquiries, and test result communications as appropriate. *Perform more complex scheduling functions, which may include surgical scheduling, schedule changes, or schedule blocking.
