What this position entails

Milliman, Inc. is recognized as a leading firm providing data, products, and professional services to the insurance industry. IntelliScript, a Milliman practice, delivers real-time data and underwriting decision-support tools to health and life insurers through software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. IntelliScript helps clients interpret and use electronic medical data, including prescription histories, diagnoses, and treatment information, to support underwriting and pricing decisions.

The Operations team works closely with partners across IT, Data Analytics, Account Management, Sales, and Product. As a Customer Service Intern, you will support important day-to-day processes that help ensure consumers receive timely, accurate service and that internal operations run smoothly.

What you will be doing

In this internship, you will support the Operations team with customer service and administrative tasks related to consumer inquiries and regulated reporting processes. Responsibilities may include:



  • Enter, update, and maintain customer information in Salesforce and other internal systems


  • Provide professional support to consumers by phone and email, helping answer questions and route issues appropriately


  • Learn IntelliScript procedures and applicable Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines to support a positive consumer experience


  • Assist with documentation, tracking, follow-up activities, and other operational tasks as assigned


What we need



  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university


  • High school diploma or GED required


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly


  • Organized, dependable, and willing to learn

Compensation:

The overall range for this role is $19.00 - $43.00. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.This is a non-exempt overtime eligible role

Location:

The expected application deadline for this job is September 14, 2026. This position is open to remote work anywhere in the US. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed
