Join a highly collaborative 26-bed acute care unit where you will care for a diverse patient population spanning trauma, hepatobiliary, ENT, plastic surgery, and emergency general surgery. The Role: 5 West offers a dynamic clinical environment where no two shifts are alike. You will play a central role in managing high-acuity patients while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care. In this role, you will: Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring in an acute care setting Administer medications safely while managing evolving patient conditions Recognize and respond to early signs of clinical deterioration Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to optimize outcomes Execute provider orders, coordinate admissions and discharges, and support care transitions Deliver hands-on patient care including ADLs and education to patients and families Contribute to a culture of teamwork, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement You will gain exposure to a wide range of skills and procedures, including post-operative surgical care, wound and drain management, feeding tubes, and complex medication therapies. The pay range for this role is $41.05 - $54.15 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
