Inova Mount Vernon Hospital - Joints is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be PRN | Days or Nights | 7:00AM - 7:30PM or 7:00PM - 7:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays | Four shifts in a six week period |

* Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

* Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.

* Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

* May perform additional duties as assigned

Training:

Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):

6 Classroom-style sessions located in Fairfax VA: 8AM - 4:30PM

1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM

1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

• All dates already pre-determined and fall between Monday - Friday.

• You first week of work will be a Monday - Friday schedule.

• Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

* Exp: One years as a clinical tech in an acute care setting, or acute care clinical completed with accredited nursing program.

* Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association,

or obtain within 90 days of hire

* Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
