We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will work on the design, analysis, development, and qualification of the next generation of valves for use on the New Glenn rocket. Your scope will encompass the complete life cycle of the system from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation. You will work with suppliers or Blue Origin groups to identify and procure components. You will size, select material, and analyze flow and structural integrity under pressure, vibration, temperature and mechanical loads. You will work with suppliers and other support organizations to procure, fabricate, and install flight hardware. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of detailed mechanical design, requirements, layouts, analysis, component selection, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and test definition. To be successful in this position you will have proven skills in mechanical design, fluid/thermal analysis, structural analysis, material selection, manufacturing processes, engineering release, component/system development testing and vendor management.

We are looking for someone at senior engineer level to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
