JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Human in Computing and Cognition (THiCC) lab within Penn State's College of Engineering is seeking highly motivated research assistants to assist with Human-AI and computational cognitive science research. We are looking for research assistants to help to run the studies, analyze the results from those studies, and develop the cognitive agents that will operate in a Minecraft environment. Those selected for this position may also work on development of supporting software for those activities. Familiarity with the programming languages, especially Python, Javascript, and ACT-R, are preferred. Familiarity with perspectives and theories from Black or African-American studies is a bonus. These positions will require those who can work both independently and in teams and who has great interpersonal and communication skills. Initial applications require a cover letter and a resume.
