JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Chemistry Department in the Eberly College of Science has a continuing need for qualified Teaching Assistants to assist with a variety of courses throughout Summer 2022 and the 2022/2023 academic year. Our needs primarily involve general and organic chemistry laboratories, but there are opportunities that involve other courses, including lecture courses and online courses. Positions typically involve assignments with a two-semester commitment.

We invite applications, which will be reviewed on a continuing basis, from qualified applicants preferably with at least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or an equivalent knowledge based on experience.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
