Position Responsibilities
    
  Duties & Responsibilities
    
     Utility scale Battery Energy storage design, modeling, optimization, and use case analysis  Research and shortlist energy storage equipment and technologies that will increase value to our clients  Create pricing and modeling tools to support estimating team   Use modeling software to create highly accurate production estimates   Draw upon technical and industry experience to characterize losses due to equipment behavior and environmental effects  Knowledge of SCADA/Controls systems  Demonstrate knowledge of and perform calculations for losses, conductor sizing, equipment rating, fusing, safety and protection consistent with, but not limited to, NEC, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, UL, and NFPA  Use or create software tools to optimize solar/wind and storage designs for energy yield and project value across multiple technology solutions  Create sitespecific building blocks and layouts for proposals and drive detailed engineering activities  Use internal tools and industry standards to optimize project designs for constraints such as scope, schedule, budget and geography  Support troubleshooting and resolution of project engineering, construction, and performance issues as applicable  Develop processes to streamline technical inputs to bid operations  Understand industry best practices   Proposal support  Support project turnover and performance testing of new facilities  Performance guarantee validation and ongoing support

  Bachelors Degree  
Position Requirements
    
   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related. Master's degree preferred  Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in energy storage and renewables (Solar/Wind/Renewables sector)  Minimum of 3 years of design work related to energy storage and renewables  Experience with electrical/electronic concepts such as Ohm's Law, resistive losses, material properties, as well as power conversion equipment, such as inverters and transformers  Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
