Description Uses their knowledge of the working properties of metals and CNC programming to design programs for CNC machines needed to meet precise customer specifications Reviews computer aided/automated design (CAD) blueprints of the specified part Makes updates or corrections to program as needed Checks new programs to ensure that the machinery will function properly and that the output will meet specifications; makes changes, and rechecks programs as needed Continuously modifies the cutting program to account for any problems encountered Ensures finished goods are prepared for shipment in accordance with customer specifications Enters new combinations into Code of Business Systems Creates nest packets with nest layouts and all required prints Creates Ripping and Shotblasting orders
