Senior Jewelry Studio Technician and Coordinator
Job Summary The Senior Studio Technician is responsible for overseeing and addressing the maintenance and operational needs of the Jewelry Center's four studios. As the liaison between students, faculty, the Art Center office, and the Senior Director of Jewelry, the technician will ensure the smooth communication and coordination of the Jewelry center. Additional responsibilities include managing and assisting with occasional workshops, visiting artist programs, Teen Gems, and the yearly Artist in Residence. Job Responsibilities Include
Order, replenish and inventory studio, class and workshop supplies, supply lists, and materials efficiently and proactively in collaboration with jewelry faculty and the Senior Director.
Experience, Education, & Skills Desired
Work Environment & Requirements Typical work schedule will be Thursdays and Fridays, 9 AM - 5 PM with occasional evening or weekend hours as programming requires. Some flexibility will be needed. Per Diem Compensation $32/hour The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. |
