Description

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated individual to join our team in May/June of 2025 as a Project Engineer at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
If you are an upcoming 2025 college graduate - this role is for you!

You will work with members of the construction department and other project team members (legal, finance, development) to facilitate several activities associated with the development and construction of our rental housing communities which include workforce housing, market rate and build to rent. You will have the opportunity for career development in the construction department with a stable and growing real estate developer. You will report to the Senior Project Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Travel to a specific market(s), overseeing the onsite construction activities for our rental housing communities
  • Help with pre-con activities on multiple projects such as code review, geotech and utility availability letters
  • Help prepare preliminary project estimates and schedules for new project submittals
  • Coordinate plan submittals and work with the assigned architects and civil engineers
  • Walk buildings and prepare construction punch lists for building delivery to property management team
  • Handle warranty items
  • In addition to responsibilities above, manage one project from commencement of construction activities through completion with the oversight of your leader



Skills for Success:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (2025 graduates encouraged to apply!)
