Proposal Analyst/Estimator ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE BUSINESS: Critical Flow Solutions, TapcoEnpro LOCATION: Channelview, TX DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. Program Manager POSITION DETAILS *Position Summary* The Proposal Analyst/Estimator helps develop and revise budgetary and firm proposals, bids, quotations, change orders, or other documents related to customer requests. The individual collaborates with members of the sales, marketing, proposals, accounting/finance, legal teams, as well as works closely with engineering, procurement, project management, and quality to ensure quoted content is complete, accurate, meets customer needs, and prepared in a timely manner. Works with internal team to determine anticipated costs, material requirements, lead-times, and compliance to customer specifications. Responds to customer inquiries. Compiles and organizes quote information and outbound packets for sales team and customers. *Principal Activities* Respond to inbound requests by customers/sales via phone and email Prepare and develop budgetary and firm quotations and change orders Review customer specifications and organize internal specification review meetings with needed department leads Work with procurement and our cost analyst for pricing Assist in departmental goals related to improving efficiencies Upload and download documents/proposals from customer-owned internet sites Provide status updates to management Put together information to be given to sales for bid meetings and hand-off information for project team upon receiving POs Job Requirements: CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS *Knowledge Skills & Abilities* Strong English written and verbal communication skills Fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel and other Microsoft Office products Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated Detail-oriented, organized, good documentation management Proactive and takes initiative Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Associates/Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university a plus 2+ years' experience in an equivalent or related role, i.e. quotation preparation, customer service, etc. Degree in business or technical field a plus Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP system experience a plus Infor Syteline, PLM software, SharePoint or similar system experience a plus Oil and Gas or similar industry experience a plus Experience quoting or working with engineering industrial valves a plus Critical Flow Solutions is an EEO Employer of Females / Minorities / Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities Get job alerts by email.
